Some years back I got a postcard from my Aunt and Uncle from Barcelona with a picture of the Camp Nou on it and was surprised as I hadn't come across any football stadium specific postcards before that.
But like bellbottoms and disco biscuits, stadium postcards were all the rage in the 1970's and a great Twitter account I follow, appropriately called "A Football Archive" recently posted a few vintage classics from that era. Here are a few of my favourites:
